when American Apparel came out with a denim line, I had to try their new jean style—having had so much love for their denim-like high waisters. The jury is still out folks. While they feel awesome, and fulfill a personal fantasy of mine to look/dress like Cher in Silkwood, I understand that they are also incredibly mom-like and unflattering to those with actual asses.
